Backyard Water Features

Waterfalls

A backyard waterfall will become your FAVORITE part of your landscape. The amazing power of sound…the tranquil flow of water offers an amazing soothing quality. Our waterfall elements are hands down the most ‘complimented on’ landscaping feature we hear from customers. Folks absolutely fall in love.

We design and build both types of backyard waterfall features, both with and without standing water:

Pondless Waterfalls:

A great option for homeowners wanting to experience a water feature, but might have a very small yard or possibly have concerns regarding small children around standing water. The waterfall and stream magically disappears into an underground basin, with no standing water remaining.

Traditional Pond Waterfall:

A popular choice for folks interested in growing water plants or providing a home for fish and wildlife. The stream flows into a small pond typically only 24-inches deep. This ending pool provides the perfect habitat for aquatic plants such as water lilies, as well as Koi fish or other wildlife.

Ponds & Ecosystems

A water garden makes a beautiful and relaxing addition to any yard. The installation of a natural waterscape will transform your property into an inviting paradise while creating an entirely new ecosystem right in your backyard. Once you have a water garden, you'll find that you spend more time outside and as a result feel more relaxed.

A healthy, balanced ecosystem will become home to a host of intriguing creatures. You’ll know you have created a brilliant water garden when you spot frogs jumping into the water as you approach and dragonflies gliding over the water surface.

Not to be left without intrigue and drama, most of our pond builds also feature the soothing sounds of flowing waterfall. Taking our design inspiration directly from Mother Nature, as we gently direct waterfalls, random place river boulders and introduce gentle water plants along the edges. Each pond and waterfall is completely custom and build by hand. No two features will ever be alike!

Artistic Fountains

There are so many creative ways to add a water feature to a garden or backyard landscape, and the design can be modern, traditional or extremely natural.

Plus as an added bonus, native rain gardens create an attractive habitat for wildlife to visit your yard, such as birds and butterflies!

Rain Harvesting Systems

This type of sustainable landscaping practice collects storm water and diverts it into underground reservoirs. These rain harvesting reservoirs are completely hidden from view and frequently host gardens or power water fountains sitting above.

Lowered utility costs are a huge selling point with these system, as the stored water can be reused to irrigate your gardens, wash your car or even combined with a professional grade lawn sprinkler system.
